Choosing Your Calling Card PIN?When choosing a PIN (Personal Identification Number) for your calling card, it is important to choose a number that is easy for you to remember, but not easily guessible for anyone else. What kinds of numbers would this disqualify? Commonly used "guessible" numbers would be the last four digits of your phone number, SSN number, your birth year or your street address. Instead, choose a number that even those who know you probably couldn't figure out, such as the last four digits of your childhood phone number, using the alpha-numeric keys to spell out a pet's name, or even a number that has no meaning to anyone and that had no meaning for you until you chose it. It makes good security and safety for you to choose all your PIN numbers in this fashion, not just your calling card number. A good friend or coworker today could be tomorrow's enemy, and PIN numbers can be very dangerous in the wrong person's hands. |
